About

I’m an award-winning game maker and writer. I make games and other interactive experiences designed to change minds and behavior. Over the last couple of years I’ve done work for institutions and brands such as Tate, V&A Museum, BBC, Channel 4, Nokia and Warner Bros, working with companies like Hide&Seek, Coney, and Preloaded. Recent awards include a Media Guardian Innovation award for Tate Trumps, and two Banff Interactive awards and a Digital Emmy nomination for Conspiracy for Good.

I’m based in London but have successfully worked with international clients.

What I do:

Concept development for games and interactive projects

With a background that covers game making, creative research and marketing, I work with companies and teams to refine a brief and then 1) find the right game idea to answer it and 2) develop and document a robust concept that can be scoped and built.

Game writing and worldbuilding

I create non-linear narratives for games, and work closely with game designers and devs to tell stories through gameplay.

I also do world building research in order to build a coherent, visually exciting premises for worlds that support the narrative and gameplay.

Creative producing

Doing the hands-on work of taking game and interactive projects from concept to successful delivery.

Creative research and copywriting

I’ve been working as a creative researcher and copywriter for the last six years.
